sneak peek inside the platform!

A fellow hairstylist from Orange County, California, started DoubleBook.

As someone who got my start as a salon assistant and has hired salon assistants of my own…

I’ve experienced both sides of the struggle: from how hard it is to break into the beauty industry (and how badly newbies get mistreated!) to the challenge of not being able to offer consistent hours but needing some freaking help!

DoubleBook changes all of that.

That gal is me, Holly!

YOUR DAY, YOUR PAY, YOUR SAY

With DoubleBook, you get to decide the when, who, and how much of the jobs you take on or the salon assistants you hire. Because it’s your life and you should get to have control of your income, schedule, and career.

Still wondering how DoubleBook works?

The entire process, from signing up to finding the right-fit job or assistant, is easy-peasy.

Pick your path.

1. Create your profile

After you’ve signed up with your email and your California cosmetology license number, we’ll verify you within 48 hours. Then you’ll set up your profile and payment info.

2. Set your hourly rate and preferences

At DoubleBook, you not only get to set your hourly rate, but you’ll also be able to share if there are specialties you’re interested in. (For example: working for a balayage specialist.)

3. Say yes to right-fit salon assisting jobs

You’ll receive job requests from salon professionals with details including the estimated amount of hours, tasks they need support with, their salon location, and more. If it’s a “heck yes” for you, you’ll accept.

4. Get paid and receive personal feedback

After the job is done, you’ll use DoubleBook to invoice them and receive a public review through the platform. You’ll also leave them a review too, so other salon assistants know what to expect when saying yes to them!
